This IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ (Indoor Environmental Quality) investigations or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

I enjoyed the course. The instructor was very knowledgable and I learned a ton. My only issue that that he admitted to having the scantron test pattern memorized and would grade the test in real time. I observed him on multiple occasions instruct students to change an answer or two that were incorrect when they turned them in. He bragged on having a 97% pass rate and I was excited to hear this, until I saw one of the ways he accomplished this. He is a great instructor, so this isn't necessary. I value the integrity of our industry, and if someone can't pass the exam then they need to study and retake the test. That is the only way we as an industry can maintain our status as experts in Mold Restorers. Beyond this the course and the instructor were great. Tracy B.

Brandon is an outstanding instructor for the AMRT class! He really knows his stuff and has a great way of teaching complex information. We covered a wide range of topics, from mold to viruses, bacteria, and parasites. The hands-on session was incredibly informative and gave me a much better understanding of the material.
