This Asbestos Building Inspector/Management Planner Refresher training course provides a review of subjects covered in the Asbestos Inspector/Management Planner initial courses. The Asbestos Inspector refresher training recertifies individuals to survey, identify and assess the condition of asbestos and asbestos containing material and record and report the results. The Management Planner is the person who develops the written program for managing asbestos containing materials identified during the asbestos building inspection. Changes to regulations, interpretations and a review of state-of-the-art work practices are covered.

Most states administer their own asbestos programs, and each state's Department of Environmental Protection/Health is generally the best place to start with questions about requirements and training.
