Asbestos Management Planner Initial Courses
This Asbestos Management Planner Initial training course accredits individuals to be the AHERA Dedicated Person to assess an asbestos hazard and recommend appropriate response actions. This training is for those responsible for facility mitigation activities, including management of data associated with asbestos work, response action planning, scheduling and administration. The Management Planner also coordinates any activities of an asbestos operations and maintenance program. Individuals must have completed the Asbestos Building Inspector training before taking the Management Planner course.

I appreciated that the course was presented from the perspective of removal contractors as well as consultants. My only minor suggestion is that some of the exam questions were not explicitly covered in the course,. Otherwise, it was fine. Thank you Spencer H.

Material was a little dry, but that is the case with such a course. First day's instructor was apathetic about course material. First words were "this course is irrelevant and my least favorite to teach"; which is not exactly how anyone would want to start off a training.
The second instructor was much better. Focused on the task at hand (passing the quiz and receiving the certification). Thomas G.

Really to be honest it is hard to give any kind of asbestos training 5 stars, I will say that Tom kept our attention and made it as fun as possible. The facility in MA was clean and well kept and it was nice to see that the folks teaching us also did field work.
