This 1-day Virginia Asbestos Project Monitor Refresher course reviews the industry-standard training covered in the in the initial 2-day initial Virginia Asbestos Project Monitor course. This course is an annual requirement for anyone holding a Virginia Asbestos Project Monitor license.
Students will review air sampling techniques, analytical methods and federal and state regulatory updates in order to function as the on-site representative or supervisor during an asbestos abatement project.

Please Note: Students must present a valid Asbestos Virginia Project Monitor Initial certification to gain entry into the course. If the initial certificate has already expired, students must retake the initial course.
Virginia has detailed education, experience and application processing requirements to qualify for licensing in the Asbestos field. Most states administer their own asbestos programs, and each state's Department of Environmental Protection/Health is generally the best place to start with questions about requirements and training. Students are responsible to verify these requirements prior to registering for a course.
