In this How to Clean Residential Carpet class, students will learn step-by-step instruction for treating carpet and other floor textiles. This course covers the set up and take down of equipment, as well as industry-standard methods for carpet cleaning. By the end of this course, students will be able to perform a residential carpet cleaning job from start to finish.
Topics to be Covered: Introduction to Carpet Cleaning Science; Cleaning Set Up; Equipment and Materials; Safety and Personal Protective Equipment; Cleaning Methods; Hot Water Extraction Method; Takedown of Equipment; Post-Work Inspection; Marketing Carpet Cleaning Services
The student will need to self report their CECs to the IICRC.
