This IICRC Continuing Education - TCST course is intended especially to give technicians the necessary refresher training. Students who complete this course will receive 14 CE hours. The course discusses the process of inspecting and analyzing crime and trauma scenes, which may contain blood and other potentially infectious substances. For credit to be earned, students must attend the entire session. Since this course is only intended for continuing education, there is no exam.
The IICRC Continuing Education Program encourages technicians to actively participate in their profession through conferences, workshops, and specialized training with continuing education, as well as exchanging expertise with others in the field. Failure to complete continuing education credit requirements will result in the suspension of that specific status until the requirement and all current course requirements are met.
