IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) - DeLoatch Training Courses
This IICRC-approved Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is designed to provide basic education for technicians and other materially interested parties in the science and practice of water damage restoration. This course will cover extraction, basic containment and basic mold procedures. This course is designed to teach non-restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, its effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows and contamination such as mold.

I came into this class with only 9 months of experience, before that I had no idea this kind of work exists! Bruce and the DeLoatch team were amazing! The workbook was presented very well and easy to follow. Bruce was ready to answer any concern and question we had in or outside of class! After completing the class, I approach water mitigation in a different way now. I want to thank the DeLoatch team for their hard work! I was able to get a 95% on the IICRC WTR exam because of how well Bruce presented the teaching! Jeremy Z.

The instructor was very interactive, informative, and thorough in his teaching. I just took the IICRC WRT class last week. Bruce was the instructor. He was amazing! Very informative, great teacher. He made it fun and interactive too! He answered all questions that were asked. While 3 days at 8 hours a day I anticipated misery. Bruce made the training course not only tolerable, but actually enjoyable and time flew by. Bruce provides not only obvious knowledge of the subject, but enabled persons like me, (not in the industry) to; understand his teachings providing additional unsuspected knowledge. Took the WRT course with Deloatch Consultation. The course was lead with passion and experience. Bruce was able to equip us with the tools we needed to proficiently pass the exam and also to be better WTC's while on the job after the training. I enjoyed the content, however given the length of each day in a zoom class it would have helped to have some sort of interactive game or some way to keep the class more stimulating. The instructor was very knowledgeable and knew his craft, I would just add some type of interaction besides simply calling on people for answers. Otherwise a very good class. Christopher J.

As a new employee and being new to the industry, the class pace was too fast to follow. It may be more beneficial to separate newbies from experienced and extend the class to a week, no more than 5-6 hours a day. Bruce and his team were awesome. The presentation was light spirited and the interaction from class was good. CJ H.
