IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) Courses
This IICRC-accredited Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is designed to provide basic education for technicians and other materially interested parties in the science and practice of water damage restoration. This course will cover extraction, basic containment and basic mold procedures. This course is designed to teach non-restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, its effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows and contamination such as mold.

Instructor Greg training on WRT course was very thorough and informative. His knowledge of the industry and the way He explains kept me awake which is an extra plus. I highly recommend this class. It provides lots of information about water restoration, the various techniques and how it applies to the various building materials. As an adjuster it is a solid reminder of how important it is to document and know you building materials. Noah L.

I have some experience in this line of work. So you can say I know a thing or two. With that being said, someone recommended I take this course on the condition it was backed by IICRC. Came across this one including a few others online, what distinguished this one was how soon it was scheduled to start. So glad I came across Chris. Gave me some much insight on material and this line of work. The way he demonstrates and teaches the material makes it comprehensive. If you feel stuck somewhere, don't hesitate to let him know. He will go more in depth or different approach/analogy until we're on the same page. Despite the training being online, Chris also has an array of tools that either you've used or will eventually come across in this line work. Definitely recommended Chris if you're considering to be WRT certified!!! Daniel B.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a virtual WRT class instructed by Holly. She presented the information in an easy to follow format that adhered closely to the written materials. This close adhesion made the information easy to follow and locate later on when reviewing.
The information provided in the WRT course was interesting, technical, thought provoking and will help any water restoration technician. The scientific and technical approach will help the WRT reason through selection, placement and quantity of machinery via solid mathematic reasoning. In short this is a must have class for technicians to provide the best service to the customer, facilitate easy insurance payments through compliance and mitigate the risk of litigation. Jason A.

As a person with time in the field, taking this class almost seemed pointless. But on day one when we all got to introduce ourselves and share our experience and time in the field I immediately started to see that this class would help.
We had open discussions, shared experiences in the field, gave our opinions and thoughts on the scenarios the instructor was talking about and helped those who are new to mitigation understand some of the whys and how we’d handle certain situations.
