IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) Courses in Ohio
This IICRC-accredited Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is designed to provide basic education for technicians and other materially interested parties in the science and practice of water damage restoration. This course will cover extraction, basic containment and basic mold procedures. This course is designed to teach non-restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, its effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows and contamination such as mold.

It was way more than I thought it would have been. The instructor was first class and made sure to include everyone in the class. He had a great teaching ability that made it fun to learn. I was probably the only student in the class that was not working in the industry, I have no experience in the industry and I made a 94.05 on the final test. The course instructor was Chris and he was great, the course was great. The issue was I was on a course for imperial measurements, cubic feet. Gallons etc and my test was in metric with cubic metres and litres. This was extremely frustrating. Considering I live in Canada and my ICRC profile shows this I am not sure how this happened. I was not the only one to experience this. My staff member was also subject to this situation. It causes some panic and anxiety in the exam situation but even though this happened to us both we still passed. Something you need to look into for sure to prevent it happening again. I am not sure why I was registered in the AU/NZ test but taught the course here in North America. Jordan P.

I recently completed a WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) class through Zack Academy, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The registration process was super easy, and the course content was both thorough and engaging. However, what really made the class stand out was my instructor, Chris. Chris is hands down one of the most knowledgeable and passionate professionals I’ve ever encountered. He made complex topics easy to understand and really took the time to ensure every student was grasping the material. His enthusiasm for the subject was contagious, and it was clear he genuinely cares about helping students succeed. The class was not only informative but also fun, and I learned so much more than I expected.
