Qualified Industrial Stormwater Manager (QISM) Online Courses

This online Qualified Industrial Stormwater Manager (QISM) course teaches students how to develop and inspect Industrial Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPP) in accordance with the NPDES permit program. Students will obtain the training necessary to become a QISM, enabling students to establish an industrial SWPPP and inspect and maintain industrial sites for stormwater compliance.

The components and arrangement of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program, setup and upkeep of best stormwater management practices (BMPs), procedures needed to inspect industrial sites, causes of BMP inefficiency and appropriate solutions, components that must be included in the Industrial Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, and the procedure for recording corrective actions and completing an inspection report.
