This 8-Hour OSHA Lead Awareness for Managers and Safety Professionals training program is designed to help companies comply with OSHA Lead Standards (29 CFR 1910.1025 & 1926.62). During the class, you will learn the proper work practices to prevent lead-based paint exposure for your workers and occupants of the building you are working in. This training is for individuals involved in the oversight of tasks where lead may be disturbed, especially for custodial, maintenance, and trades persons who will conduct operations which may contact or disturb lead in buildings. It is intended to review the source and history of lead, and the health effects associated with lead exposure. We will discuss the regulations, both federal and state, which regulates the activities you may perform related to lead in construction.
