Why Should You Take This Lead Supervisor Supplemental Course?
This course is for those individuals who already possess a Lead-Related Construction Worker certificate (24 or 32 hours) from the State of California, and are interested in becoming a Lead Supervisor or Project Monitor by taking this 16-hour lead-related Supplemental Lead Supervisor/Project Monitor course to fulfill the training requirements.
This 16-hour supplemental training course is designed to further the education of a Lead-Related Construction Worker in order to become a Lead Supervisor or Project Monitor.
There are experience requirements and a third-party exam to become a Lead Supervisor in the State of California:
Proof of Experience: A current and active contractor's license issued in your name by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) within the classifications A, ASB, B, C12, C15, C17, C21, C32, C33, C34, C35, C39, C4, C-3, C47, C61/D38, C61/D63 or HAZ may serve as the proof of experience for Supervisors
There are also experience requirements and a third-party exam to become a Project Monitor in the State of California:
Third-Party Exam: Lead Abatement Supervisor or Lead Project Monitor Certification Exam (call Cooperative Personnel Services (916) 263-3624, opt 5).

Allstate Services was formed in April 1995 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Corona, CA, serving all of southern California. Allstate Services' experience with lead-based paint dates back to 1991. This included clients such as the City of Chelsea, the Massachusetts Department of Economics, and the State of Rhode Island's Department of Housing.
Allstate Services was called upon in 1993 to act as academic and technical advisor, as well as to provide instructor services to the US EPA Western Regional Lead Training Center at the University of California in San Diego; this being the first lead training provider under US EPA scholarship accommodated many of the first of the region's lead professional in securing this type of training. Over the past fifteen years, Allstate Services has served UCSD as academic and technical advisor, instructors, and DHS Certified Lead Training Director.
