This Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor combo training is designed to provide information for those individuals who perform lead-based paint inspections and/or clearance examinations on abatement and renovation projects. This course will teach the legal obligations facing inspectors when inspecting for lead hazards, and individuals will learn to determine whether or not lead-based paint or other lead hazards are present in sufficient quantities to require abatement according to regulatory guidelines. This workshop prepares you to immediately apply your knowledge to the field, with extensive hands-on training and real-world examples from experienced instructors.

Thank you for this course. I learned a lot. I do think having the different instructors had its advantages and limitations. I was able to learn form 4 individuals with different experiences which is wonderful. However, there tended to be a lot of repetition because each of the instructors addresses the same material. I did feel that the on-hands component of the course did not meet my expectations. I feel underprepared to go into a home and conduct a visual inspection. The dust wipe component was very well done. However, I am very pleased with the theoretical information that I gained. Scott A.

Steve was a great instructor; he explains the topics in a simple and understandable way, keeps the students engaged and knows when to move on or take a break. The class had 8 students, so it felt more like a team working together, instead of 1 person just lecturing. Highly recommend ATI. John L.

I highly recommend to all who is getting involved with lead arena to take this class. Wow. It was mind boggling to find out how much I did not know. It’s intense and tones of information given by the dr. Balbi. Given the amount of information you need to know they designed the class well. Especially for people like me who need to be in a class surrounding to absorb information. Hands on and in class learning. You are not going to get this from a book. I appreciated the no nonsense approach. If you are going to take his class, make sure you pay attention to every word. When the class was over, I knew I had to study more. I walked out of class having more questions than when I walked in the first class. Not because they didn’t cover the subject but rather due to what I learned from class I had / have more questions. Great class and it was fun. don't get me wrong it's intense class but it helps to have a good teacher. Professor made the class fun and interactive. Again I highly recommend his class!!!!! Mina F.
