This 2-day Lead Risk Assessor Certification Initial training includes how to conduct an on-site investigation to determine the existence, nature, severity, and location of lead- based paint hazards, and the creation of a report by the person or the lead firm conducting the risk assessment, explaining the results of the investigation and options for reducing lead-based hazards. Course includes EPA’s model training materials.

Those working in industrial or public building settings other than target housing or child occupied facilities, generally, do not need government certification or licensing. All that is required is your training certificate achieved in this class.
