The Lead Risk Assessor training course provides information for those individuals who wish to perform lead-based paint Risk Assessment or Lead Hazard Screening services. This class will prepare students to perform on-site inspection, take samples, determine the severity of lead hazards, and develop options for eliminating those hazards.
A Risk Assessor can perform all of the duties that an Inspector can (including work that falls under the Lead RRP Rule and HUD's Lead-Safe Housing rule). In addition, a Risk Assessor is responsible for identifying all lead-based paint hazards and making recommendations for their treatment, including maintenance and monitoring schedules.
The Lead Inspector class is a pre-requisite for Lead Risk Assessor, in addition to education and experience requirements - please confirm eligibility for this course prior to registering.
