In addition, a Risk Assessor is responsible for identifying all lead-based paint hazards and making recommendations for their treatment, including maintenance and monitoring schedules.

Testudo LLC specializes in educating Wisconsin-based contractors on the state's Lead Safe Renovator rule. Testudo offers both the 8-hour initial class and the 4-hour refresher class; in Wisconsin the 4-hour refresher course is required every four years. Testudo focuses on educating their clients, not just "training" them; when you've finished a class offered by Testudo, you should leave confident and fully prepared to conduct remodeling jobs in pre-1978 housing where lead-based paint will be disturbed. Testudo is owned and operated by certified lead-based paint experts who also perform lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments.
