HAZWOPER 8-Hour Annual Refresher Courses
Do not let your HAZWOPER certification expire! This HAZWOPER refresher course is a required 8-hour annual re-certification for persons engaged in hazardous waste operations and emergency response. This course covers site-specific requirements and information pertaining to hazardous waste sites and operations in accordance with the requirements for health and safety training in OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.120. The HAZWOPER refresher training recertifies individuals who are engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which may expose them to hazardous substances and health hazards on a regulated hazardous waste site.

I mention to Melvin of his evaluation in class. In the past two or three years he was one of the best instructor's I've had for the 8 hours refresher. He just needs to fine tune his presentation. His power-points were right on. Searching through Google, if I had a negative word to say. That part should have been more prepared for the class. And his last video of donning PPE he could find a much better more professional video to present to a class. Other than those few suggestions. Melvin is still heads up above all the instructor's I've had from other companies in years and they have doing this for a while. Melvin has a great future ahead of him as a environmental regulatory course instructor. Don't lose this guy!!!!

I took the 8 hr HAZWOPER on the last day of a schedule 40 hr HAZWOPER course it was an over kill with slides could use a video or two on some topics. The instructor read a lot and had some inssue with his computer but had it under control. Learn a few new things on this s course that’s why it’s a refresher. Bernie S.
