Mold 101 Online Courses

This Mold 101 course is a 4-hour online review of mold control in indoor environments. This course gives students the foundation they need to deal with moisture and mold-related issues in a home or building. Students will learn how to recognize, treat, and prevent mold growth.

This course is provided entirely online. Students will be able to start and stop course modules as necessary. Upon successful of completion, students will receive a course certificate.

Topics to be Covered: Mold Background Information; Guidelines, Standards and Regulations; Heath Effects of Mold; Building Science and Mold; Basics of Mold Inspection; Basics of Mold Sampling; Mold Remediation Equipment; Mold Remediation Engineering Controls; Mold Removal, Cleaning and Disinfecting; Personal Protective Equipment
