This Mold Abatement Worker Refresher - NY course re-certifies Mold Abatement Workers in the state of New York. This course promotes safe work practices and is compliant with state regulations as per Section 931.1 to keep licensing current and avoid fines. This New York state mold refresher course must be taken within 90 days of certificate expiration, every 2 years.
Mold abatement is defined as the act of removal, cleaning, sanitizing, or surface disinfection of mold, mold containment, and waste handling of mold and materials use to remove mold from surfaces by an individual. Students can also expect to review worker protection, workplace hazards and new technology within their field.
