Starting your own Mold Inspection and Remediation company that handles all aspects of the mold remediation process requires time, dedication, and the right training by experienced instructors and training providers. Our Mold Inspection & Remediation courses cover all aspects of the mold remediation process, including: mold fundamentals, inspections, assessments, sampling methods, and report interpretation, while also covering what is needed to perform the actual mold remediation work on the jobsite.
Please Note: If you wish to perform Mold Remediation or Assessment work in the state of Florida, you must be licensed by the state, or work under supervision of an existing FL Mold license holder.
To apply for the FL Mold Remediator or Assessor license, applicants must have (a) 2+ year degree a field of science and a minimum of one year of documented field experience; OR (b) a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of documented field experience. Field experience must show work on at least 15 document mold jobs per year. All FL license applicants must also complete training on respiratory protection and pass a state-approved exam.
