Mold Inspection - Aerosol Monitoring and Analysis Courses
This 3-day intensive Mold Inspection and Assessment Course will address the procedures and protocols involved in inspecting and assessing a building for mold growth.
Participants will gain a strong understanding of potential building construction and HVAC issues that facilitate microbial growth. The course will review different types of microbial contaminants, sampling strategies, collection and handling, and data interpretation. Students will be provided with extensive hands-on experience using sampling equipment, to train on the different procedures for collecting contaminants.
The course will also cover industry guidelines and local regulations, including the District of Columbia mold regulations for rental properties.
Successful completion of this course is recognized by the District Department of Energy and Environment (DC DOEE) for application for mold licensure!
