This 8-Hour COVID-19 Disinfection Certification for Schools and College Campus Administrators is tailored specifically for school administrators, campus managers, or anyone in charge of the implementation of a COVID-19 disinfection protocol for learning facilities. As communities consider how to safely re-open schools and colleges, CDC offers updated considerations for strategies that K-12 school administrators can use to help protect students, teachers, and staff and slow the spread of COVID-19. This course covers the following topics: Identification and classification of employee exposure risks; Importance of safety data sheets in selecting and using chemical cleaners and disinfectants; State of the art disinfection and applications and methodologies; Elements of an effective infection prevention and control plan; Proper assignment and evaluation of employee personal protective equipment (PPE); Coordination of task-specific IPC measures and how to document compliance and Quality Controls.
