This one-day Confined Spaces in Construction course includes specific information and training to cover the new construction standard, 29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA. Our class will cover the safety and health hazards associated with permit-required confined space entry in the construction trade.
Participants will learn how to recognized confined space hazards, identifying permit versus non-permit required spaces, use instrumentation to evaluate atmospheric hazards, ventilation and safing techniques, and how to develop and implement a confined space program. Upon successful completion, students will receive a training certificate for Confined Spaces in Construction.
NOTE: Prior Confined Spaces experience is required for enrollment.
