This 4-Hour Fall Prevention (SST-305) Online course is designed for construction professionals in New York City looking to apply for the Site Safety Training (SST) card as required by Local Law 196. This course will instruct upon hazard recognition and prevention as they pertain to falls on construction sites.
During this course, participants will learn to understand Fall Protection terminology, and be familiar with fall protection standards and regulations; know how to recognize, prevent, and avoid Fall Hazards; and retain proper methods to evaluate and mitigate Fall Hazards.
Note: This course is specially designed to meet requirements for NYC DOB Local Law 196. This course employs voice authentication technology in order to meet Local Law 196 proctored training requirements. Students must have a working headset with microphone in order to take this course.
