4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher Online for SST Card (SCA-201) Courses

The NYC 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher Online (SCA-201) is designed for obtaining training hours towards the NYC DOB Local Law 196 requirements to apply for the Site Safety Training (SST) card. 

In this course, students will learn how to recognize and prevent deaths and serious injuries when using scaffolds on construction sites. By the end of this course, students will have a better understanding of how to safely operate a supported scaffold system. Topics include OSHA standards for PPE, fall protection, and scaffolds; supported scaffold elements; securing scaffolds to structures and scaffold erection; scaffold hazards and protection.

This course is a fully online course. Students will be able to start and stop course modules during the window of access to course content. Upon successful completion, students will receive a course certificate.

Note: This course is specifically designed to meet training requirements set by the New York City Department of Buildings Local Law 196, and features voice authentication technology to proctor the course completion. Students must have a working headset with microphone in order to take this course. 

This course is only valid towards the NYC DOB Site Safety Training (SST) card. This course cannot be used to obtain the 4 Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher Card for working on a jobsite.
