Scaffolding Awareness - Online is a 15-minute course that outlines the key facts and risks associated with scaffolding. This class identifies several possible causes of accidents. Additional topics include the function of the competent person, the characteristics of unsafe buildings and recognizing danger on raised platforms. The student will investigate various controls for electrical systems, collapse threats and falling objects while adhering to OSHA Standards: 1926.95,.451,.454,.503, Subpart L and industry best practices. Students can use an interactive simulation to identify common scaffolding hazards on construction sites.
