Trenching and Excavation Awareness - Online is a 20-minute course that presents the fundamentals of job site trenching and excavation dangers. In addition to learning how to keep themselves safe in and around trenching and excavation sites, students will also learn about the various pieces of safety equipment that are necessary. Students are assisted in recognizing trench hazards through an interactive simulation. The ability to recognize different kinds of trenching risks, strategies for mitigating these risks, and the role of the competent individual in trench safety are among the topics covered.
