Introduction to Blogging & Content Marketing Online Anytime consists of three live one-hour lessons held over a period of one week, where no prior knowledge is required, making this the ideal starting point for anyone even remotely interested in learning about Blogging & Content Marketing of all types, be it for themselves or as a profession.
The three live one-hour webinars include:
1. Introduction to Blogging and Content Marketing
- This lesson is an introduction to the course and to the world of blogging and content creation. We will discuss some of the most continuously influential bloggers at the moment, and start to introduce the idea of how to best manage your blog content by looking at some important best practices for bloggers.
- We further discuss the impact blogs now have with case studies, and looking at how blogging has evolved as a medium. We are also going to begin to look at the various platforms a potential blogger might consider setting up on.
2. Setting Up Your Own Blog
- This lesson takes a detailed look at the different blog platforms that are out there and which ones might be suitable for you. We will take a look at some of the reasons why blogging has evolved and grown into what it is today.
- We are also going to explain some of the terminology that you will come across when you’re managing a blog and will discuss the value of having your own domain.
3. One Step Further - Vlogging
- This is not just a passing fad for the Snapchat generation… Vlogging/Vloggers are amassing numbers that eclipse big budget Hollywood movies. In this final introductory lesson, you will learn about the power of Vlogging and why it has to be considered. What is best practice for creating Vlog content and why don’t you need a big budget?
- The equipment you need for Vlogging is as important as the content you are hoping will create an engaging personable quality to your blogs. We will analyze the best of the best and look to replicate some of the principles that make them so good.
Students will be able to catch up with any lecture whenever the time fits for them, as each lecture is recorded as they are broadcasted. Each video is available to the student within 24 hours of each lecture concluding and will be available for unlimited access for up to 12 days after the entire course has been completed.
This course will also provide weekly quizzes in order to self-assess your progress. These are completely voluntary and a fantastic revision tool. Only live courses have weekly quizzes. Upon course completion, a final assignment will be made available.
Each student can participate using their own computer, either Mac or Windows devices will suffice. Live lessons are not essential in order to pass diploma courses as each student can view the recordings in their own time and pace.
