How does the GPM relate to other certifcations such as the PMP?
The Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential is one of the most important industry-recognized certifications for project managers and demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to lead and direct projects, and is granted by the Project Management Institute.
The Green Project Manager (GPM®) certification is awarded to project managers who have met prescribed standards of performance that includes technical competency in sustainability and project management and is therefore a specialization. The GPM® is not meant to serve as a replacement for any other certification but as an additional designation to indicate competence in sustainability and project management.
