In this Estimatics 102 course, students will learn the fundamentals of estimating as it relates to insured property losses. Students will learn the different factors of estimating such as emergency restoration services, contents, and structure. Students will also learn business skills such as budgeting, scheduling, documentation, and best work practices to run a seamless estimation job.
It's a restoration professional's duty to restore properties back to a pre-loss condition. A key factor in this is knowing how to perform efficient estimates. An efficient estimate saves time for the client, the worker, and the insurance adjustor time and builds the credibility that attracts new customers.
This course provides both hands-on training and interactive lecture to teach students the basics of estimating. Students will particularly focus on creating estimates that align with common insurance policies for real world application.
