Why Should You take This IICRC Building Moisture Thermography (BMT) course?
This IICRC Building Moisture Thermography (BMT) course is designed to teach thermography to individuals engaged in water damage restoration, mold remediation, building envelope diagnostics, indoor air quality consultation and other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching the physics of infrared radiation, the principles of thermodynamics, the principles of psychrometry, and the use of infrared camera equipment to those who will perform IR inspections in the field.
Course graduates will be adequately equipped to collect and interpret infrared images, thus using thermography as a principle technology for the inspection, cleaning and restoration of building envelopes.

Intended Audience: Restoration & remediation companies, contractors, universities, large organizations, facility managers, water damage technicians, carpet cleaning companies, BOMA members, and home & building inspectors
IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for all exams except for AMRT and Inspector exams which will be $150.00. Retests will be $80.00. These fees are in addition to the price per seat, and are paid directly to IICRC. Please be sure attendees have the proper fees available when attending classes.
Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry.
INSPECTORS: Due to rapid changes in fiber, yarn, dye, manufacturing, finishing and related technologies, IICRC-certified inspectors must attain 14.0 continuing education credit hours every two years.
CLEANING/RESTORATION TECHNICIANS: IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
ADVANCED DESIGNATIONS: Those registrants achieving the advanced designations of Master Textile Cleaner (MTC), Master Fire and Smoke Restorer (MSR) or Master Water Restorer (MWR) will be required to attain 14.0 CE credit hours every two years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.
