It will cover both certifications in full detail, including hands on training for working with both carpet and upholstery. Part 1:IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course

This program will cover carpet cleaning "inside & out" and enable you to be confident on every job no matter what the customer asks you or what the cleaning challenges are. Emphasis will be placed on the process and principles of carpet cleaning, how to remove stubborn stains, how to prevent stains from returning, and the chemistry of carpet stains.

The course covers fibers and identification; pre-testing and problems prevention; upholstery and drapery procedures and techniques; and use of chemicals in spotting and after cleaning treatments. The material is presented in a generic format with lecture; audio-visual and hands-on cleaning used to aid the learning process and includes a 300 page manual.
