COURSE DESCRIPTION

This IICRC Carpet Repair and Reinstallation/Carpet Cleaning Technician (RRT/CCT) Combo course allows students to earn their RRT and CCT certifications in 4 days. Students will learn in-depth restoration techniques for cleaning and treating carpets.

The Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician course teaches techniques and safety issues related to carpet repair, reinstallation, carpet construction, inspection, and carpet care equipment. Students will learn how to repair common issues with installed carpet, as well as how to recognize and prevent installation problems.

The IICRC-approved Carpet Cleaning Technician course teaches the science of carpet cleaning to restoration professionals. Emphasis is placed on practical application such as identifying fiber, yarn, and fabric constructions in order to best select cleaning options for the job. This certification is a fundamental course that is prerequisite for many other IICRC courses.

IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for each certification exam ($160.00 for both RRT and CCT); retests will be $80.00. These fees are in addition to the registration fee and are paid directly to IICRC online prior to course start date. Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry.

Cleaning and Restoration Technicians: IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14 CEC hours every four years.

Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.
