In this Powder-Actuated Fastening Tools Usage and Maintenance class students will learn industry standards for operating powder-actuated fastening tools (PATs). This class will also cover caring for PATs so that the workers can reduce repair costs, as well as new PAT technology such as pneumatic (air) fastening tools. Instructors will guide students on the various components of PATs such as fasteners and cartridges in order to work with a variety of base materials. This course provides OSHA compliance for workers that use PATs on their job sites. At the end of this course, students will earn a powder-actuated tool certification.
