Why Should You Take This Residential Heating Systems Course?
This Residential Heating Systems course is designed for those currently working in the HVAC/R field seeking to expand their knowledge in the installation and maintenance of HVAC heating systems. This course will include hands-on learning with state-of-the-art equipment in a complete lab environment. Instruction includes combustion safety, installation and service of gas and oil furnaces, heat pumps, geothermal systems and troubleshooting skills and techniques.
Students will have the opportunity to earn industry credentials including HVAC Excellence Employment Ready Oil and Gas Heat, and Nate Installer Level Oil and Gas Furnace Certifications. Nate certifications require three years of HVAC experience and will be an additional cost.
