This 14-Hour Florida Contractors Continuing Education Online - With Wind Mitigation course satisfies state requirements to maintain your contractor license. This online course covers important information about area-specific building code, insurance, workplace safety, lien laws, workers compensation and business practices. In particular, this course offers a section on wind mitigation that is required for certain structures in the state of Florida.
Geared toward self-led learning, this convenient online course gives students up to one year of access to course content. Students can start and stop course modules as needed. Upon successful completion, students will receive their course certificate.

Note: All certified and registered Florida contractors administered under the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB) are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education each two-year renewing cycles.
