If you operate equipment in Massachusetts that is capable of raising 10+ feet, lifting 500+ pounds, or holding over 1/4 yard of material MA DPS requires you to be licensed.

This 1C/2A Hoisting License Preparation Course prepares you for the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety 2A and/or 1C Hoisting Engineers License exams, allowing workers to operate front end loaders, backhoes and excavators (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D) and/or operate a hydraulic boom with no cable, industrial forklifts and all terrain lull type forklifts (1C, 1D).

1C License Prep and Recertification

With a 1C License, you can operate:

• Hydraulic booms with no cable
• Industrial forklifts
• All Terrain Lull Type Forklifts

The 1A / 1B / 1C / 1D Hoisting Engineer Training covers items needed to pass the state exam and to cover refresher CEU’s (Continuing Education Units) for those who already possess the above mentioned hoisting engineer classification.
