Why Should You Take This Georgia Residential Basic Contractor License Exam Prep Online Anytime Course?
A Georgia Residential Basic Contractor License is required for building one and two-family homes or one-family townhouses not over three stories high, including accessory buildings. You are required to have two years working as or employed by a residential contractor or experience deemed substantially similar by licensing board. You must have two completed projects in the residential Basic category during the 2 years preceding application. Educational experience may also qualify. To obtain your Residential Basic Contractor License, you will be required to pass an 80 Question Exam covering the Trades/Practices topics. You will need to get 56 (70%) of the 80 questions correct. The questions will be selected at random from a pool of over 1,000 questions. You will be allowed 200 minutes to complete this exam. This course will prepare you for all topics covered on the Trades/Practices portion of the exam. Students will 6 months of access to course content.
