This online 6-Hour Drones in Construction and Successful Site Design course combines two courses. Students will learn about the exciting new technology of drones as it applies to construction and the methods used by the most successful and efficient site developers.
One of the biggest challenges in the construction industry is efficiency. According to various international Green Building councils, as much as 15% of materials delivered to construction sites end up in landfills. Creating efficient projects can save developers millions of dollars while protecting the environment.
This course presents two of the latest construction methods designed to increase efficiency. In the Drones in Construction portion of the course, students will learn how these applied robotics can increase efficiency and productivity. Drones have been used to survey sites, deliver materials, and minimize safety risks for workers. This cutting-edge technology will only increase in demand in the future.
In the Successful Site Design portion of the course, students will learn how to set specific, clear project goals and complete projects quickly, efficiently and with less waste and sunken costs. With an emphasis on site evaluation and utility coordination, this course will teach students how to create projects that seamlessly integrate into existing structures.
Geared toward self-paced learning, this course is conveniently offered online.
