Corporate Training By Zack Academy - Louisiana Residential Contractor License Exam Prep

This Louisiana Residential Contractor License Exam Prep course prepares individuals for the state exam. A Residential Contractor can conduct new construction, remodeling and repair of residential structures no more than three stories in height. 

Applicants to the Louisiana State Board of Contractors who wish to obtain their Residential Contractors License.

Requirements for licensure as a Louisiana Residential Contractor:

• Complete the Residential Application.
• Provide a financial statement showing a minimum of $10,000 net worth (must be current within 12 months of application).
• Pass the required examinations. After the application is submitted, the
• Qualifying Party will receive testing information.
• Must take Business & Law exam (or Laws, Rules and Regulations if requesting Labor Only classification)
• Must take trade exam, if applicable
• After the application is submitted, provide proof of general liability insurance and proof of workers’ compensation coverage.
• Receive approval from the Board before issuance of the license.

The final exam consists of 80 multiple choice questions.
