Why should I attend this workshop?
The Board of Building Regulations and Standards (BBRS) has approved continuing education requirements for licensed construction supervisors in the state of Massachusetts. Licensees who renew a license or are issued a first-time license on or after July 1, 2011 shall be expected to fully comply with education requirements following a full two-year cycle. A qualifying Construction Supervisor licensee must provide proof of completion of required hours in the appropriate category in which the licensee is licensed (Restricted, Unrestricted or Specialty).
What if my license has expired? Is there a grace period to renew my CSL?
If a contractor's license has expired or will expire before an individual completes their Continuing Education (CE) hours, they have 1 year to fulfill the CE hours (without having to retake the test), but can't operate with a license until those CE requirements are met. If you have specific questions about your renewal period, please contact the Mass Board of Building Regulations and Standards (BBRS) at: (617) 727-3200
How many hours of Continuing Education do I need as a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor? Different licenses require different amounts of Continuing Education:
