This two-week Instrumentation course presents both theoretical and practical aspects of industrial process measurement and control systems. Students will learn industry-standard techniques and current technology used to measure pressure, level, temperature and flow.
This course includes formal presentations on pneumatic, analog electronic and digital instruments including HART. The course also includes laboratory exercises that will cover calibration and testing of measurement devices, transmitters, valve positioners, and configuration of digital Proportional-Integral-Derivative controllers. Upon successful completion, students will earn 5.5 CEUs.
