Who should take this course?
The Building Performance Institute (BPI) is a nationally recognized certification, accreditation, and quality assurance body for home performance contractors. Focusing on the house as a system approach, BPI emphasizes the interdependence of building systems as they relate to energy consumption. BPI Building Analyst certification is the nation's most widely recognized energy auditor certification and will give you the tools to analyze and correct any deficient features in older (and even modern!) residences. BPI training is meant for those who currently work hands-on in the construction and/or remodeling industries. Contractors, Inspectors, Mechanical Engineers, HVAC Technicians, Builders, and Architects stand to benefit from attaining the BPI certification.
BPI Building Analyst Technicians must re-certify every 3 years.
