Why Should You Take This Geothermal Installer Workshop?
The Geothermal Installer Workshop is designed to prepare technical professionals with the knowledge and skills to design and install ground source heat pump loop systems. This course will cover the fundamental theory and application of geothermal systems and provide hands-on training in underground pipe sizing, installation and service.
The content follows the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) objectives and is taught by an accredited IGSHPA instructor. Students receive hands-on training in LCTI's state of the art Renewable Energy Lab with a fully operating geothermal system. Upon successful completion of the workshop and passing the exam, students will be issued an IGSHPA Geothermal Installer certificate and a NATE Ground Source Heat Pump Loop Installer Certificate.
