This Advanced Ecological Risk Assessment Webinar is a follow up to "Ecological Risk Assessment: Introduction". We recommend that anyone enrolling in the Advanced course also enroll in the Introductory course to ensure that all attendees have an understanding of the basics of an ERA.
During the advanced sessions, the specific technical and regulatory approaches to completing ecological risk assessments will be reviewed, with a focus on providing a hands-on understanding of an ERA, including the data collection aspects of the various lines of evidence used. Case studies of both aquatic and terrestrial settings will be examined, and active engagement with the attendees will reinforce the points presented.
After completing the course, attendees will have a deeper understanding of the details of planning and preparing for the completion of an ERA, including data development needs, selection of endpoints, and the development of lines of evidence.
