Corporate Training By Zack Academy - Lead Renovators Refresher - Portuguese

Effective April 22, 2010, anyone who performs renovations, repairs, or painting in pre-1978 housing or child-occupied facilities must be EPA Lead Safe Certified. Individuals and firms that are not certified could face fines of up to $41,056 per day.

This new EPA law applies if your project disturbs:

• More than 6 square feet of interior painted surface AND/OR
• More than 20 square feet of exterior painted surface

For individuals who have previously completed the Lead Renovator Initial Certification in compliance with the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule, this 4-hour Refresher Course is required to renew your individual certification. Our courses are delivered by experienced instructors, and will provide you with all the current information you need to successfully and safely perform RRP work in the field. This course is delivered in Portuguese.

• Review of Prohibited Practices, Personal Protective Equipment and Dust Control
• Cleaning Activities and Checking Your Work
• Recordkeeping
• Training of Non-Certified Renovators

• The refresher course can be completed at any time prior to the expiration of your initial certification, so register today to prevent any delays in your recertification!
• This course will be conducted in Portuguese.
