Maintaining Accreditation: To continue to work in the deleading field, you must attend and successfully complete an 8-hour annual refresher. This refresher must be completed prior to the expiration date on your training certificate. Massachusetts has adopted a 12-month grace period during which you cannot work in deleading, but may attend the 8-hour annual refresher course. If the refresher course is not completed within the grace period, you must repeat the initial 4-day course. Check with your state for state specific requirements.
