Why Should You Take This HAZMAT - Emergency Response Technician Course?
The HAZMAT - Emergency Response Technician training is a 3-day course, which satisfies the requirements for health and safety training in the OSHA Standard on Hazardous Waste Operations, 29 CFR 1910.120 (Q). The course includes a combination of lectures, class exercises and hands-on training.
Intended Audience: This course is designed for those individuals who respond to releases or potential releases, with the intent of stopping the release. Participants are trained to assume a more aggressive role than a first responder at the operations level in order to either, plug, patch, or stop the release using other methods.

Annual re-certification is required to maintain certification and to perform HAZMAT duties.
