The Low GWP (A2L) Refrigerant Safety course trains students how to safely handle and transport low-GWP refrigerants. Low greenhouse gas pollution (GWP) substitutes are displacing the once widely used refrigerants. Students and technicians will require further training in order to handle and transport these safer, greener and more energy-efficient Low GWP refrigerants. The Low GWP Refrigerant Safety - A2L Refrigerants exam validates a person's ability to work safely with low GWP refrigerants while also reducing liability. Exam topics include general flammable refrigerant safety knowledge, core ACR knowledge, flammable system service safety, flammable system installation safety, and flammable refrigerant transportation and handling safety. The exam is completed in closed-book format at the end of the course.
