It will integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG), occupant wellness, and safety in building practices. Explore ESG frameworks and standards, exploring essential areas of health and safety and learning how to adopt robust safety measures while incorporating green building concepts linked with LEED.
This engaging workshop will help you jumpstart your own climate change action plan while also providing your organization with the knowledge and resources needed to make a significant impact. You will learn how to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes, develop an ESG action plan, engage employees in ESG practices, identify and evaluate ESG metrics, as well as manage ESG risks and opportunities.
Participants will discuss a variety of climate change mitigation strategies, such as Green Buildings, LEED, Net Zero Buildings, Carbon Credits, and others, during the workshop. They will examine the significance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in business, as well as the concept of Climate Justice in the context of climate change. In addition to exploring the growth of sustainable tourism and ESG considerations in business, participants will also engage in stimulating debates regarding cultural and lifestyle transformations, such as tiny homes and minimalism.
The class will also engage in discussions around environmental sustainability, key environmental issues and challenges, methods for reducing environmental impact, the role of green buildings and the LEED rating system, and case studies of effective environmental projects.
Participants in this 2-day workshop will also receive a complimentary one-year subscription to GBRI's library of self-paced courses and articles, which includes LEED and WELL-specific training.
